Transforming Water

My creative work continues to explore the complex challenge of having too much and not enough water at the same time, and the power in the possibility of living symbiotically with the environment. Inspired by Judith Schwartz’s book, Water in Plain Sight: Hope for a Thirsty World, my oil painting symbolizes a path to a sustainable future where our human efforts harmonize with nature, creating true water security.

This exhibition’s collective support for the World Central Kitchen’s Gaza Relief Program seamlessly extends the themes of hope, possibility, and resilience presented in Transforming Water. WCK’s relief efforts emphasize that food security is unattainable without reliable access to safe, clean drinking water.
