• Acequia – Eco-printing at AADK

  Eco-printing during a residency at AADK in Blanca, Spain. We used dye plants found on our explorations and transferred their color by soaking them in rust-activated water, warmed by the hot mid-summer sun.

  This exhibition features artists exploring the historic ties between Maine and Haiti, focusing on plant-human relationships during the Haitian revolution. Sculptures by Atis Rezistans are displayed in the SEED Barn gardens, with proceeds aiding restoration in Port-Au-Prince. The site connects culturally significant histories and promotes discussions on food sovereignty and rewilding.
